A two-story health club contains men's and women's massage and steam rooms and includes an air-conditioned fitness center featuring cardio and weight machines, free weights, and an aerobics area. As part of the All Inclusive Plan, a large, air-conditioned clubhouse provides supervised activities for children.
Daylight activities include pool aerobics, bingo, cooking and Spanish lessons, and handicrafts as well as athletic competitions. After-dark activities include karaoke and stage shows in an air-conditioned theater four nights weekly. The resort purifies its water.

The resort offers 638 air-conditioned guestrooms in a six-story tower and one-, two-, and three-story villas. Salmon-colored buildings with white roofs feature Moorish-style domes and decorative oval windows. Balconies and ground-floor terraces provide views of either the Caribbean Sea to the east, Nichupté Lagoon, on the western side of Cancun Island, or the resort's gardens and neatly trimmed lawns.
White walls and ceilings include bas-relief headboards in a nautilus-shell pattern. Floors are pink marble, furniture the color of honey, drapes dark green, and bedspreads in a floral pattern. In-room safes are available (surcharges).

El Navegante Restaurant - Air-conditioned, sea views. Gray rattan chairs, brightly colored linens. Breakfast, lunch, dinner buffets, with à la carte service also available for dinner. Mexican cuisine for dinner. Live music nightly.
La Trattoria - Intimate, air-conditioned restaurant featuring red linens, Italian specialties for dinner. Appetizers, soups, salads, and main courses such as fried seafood, fish, chicken stuffed with cream cheese, veal Milanese, and beef in red wine/orange sauce. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts, closed-toe shoes (no sneakers) for men.
Paradise Cove - Casual seafront, open-air, linen-service restaurant offering à la carte seafood lunch.
Steak House - Open for dinner in Paradise Cove location during winter with à la carte menu offering steaks, beef-and-chicken kabobs, grilled chicken, broiled fish, short ribs.
Las Conchas Restaurant - Open-air spot serving breakfast buffet, deli-and-salad-bar lunch, international-theme (Asian, Spanish, Italian, Tex-Mex) dinner buffets. (Caribbean, Mexican, International dinner buffets served in theater three nights weekly, along with stage shows.)
Lobby Bar - Tropical drinks, big-screen television, live music six nights weekly. Karaoke on Sunday nights.
